Join us for sukiyaki! Sukiyaki is a hot pot dish that features beef and vegetables cooked in a rich broth and served with an egg dipping sauce. 
Grab your donabe and join us for this comforting, flavorful dish!

Check the ingredients list before registering.  Once registered you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link. We will send the recipe card a week before the class.

Ingredients (serves 3)

  • 2 tbsp sake
  • 1/4 mirin
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 block firm tofu
  • 5 dried shiitake mushrooms
  • 1 package enoki mushrooms
  • 2 cups napa cabbage
  • 2 cups shungiko (chrysanthemum greens or tong ho)
  • 1 leek
  • 1 package shirataki noodles
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 12 oz thinly sliced fatty beef
  • 2 cups dashi stock
  • 2 cups steamed rice
  • 2 egg yolks (from pasteurized eggs)
  • 3 servings cooked udon (optional)
