Join us for Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki! Okonomiyaki is a type of savory pancake. Both Osaka and Hiroshima are famous for their different styles of okonomiyaki, with Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki being famous for including soba noodles and its unique cooking method! 

Check the ingredients list before registering.  Once registered you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link. We will send the recipe card a week before the class.

Ingredients (for one okonomiyaki)

  • 1 tsp bonito powder, to taste
  • 2/3 cup cabbage, julienned
  • 1/4 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 tbsp scallions, finely chopped
  • 4 slices pork belly or bacon
  • 1 package yakisoba noodles
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1tsp mirin
  • okonomiyaki sauce
  • Japanese mayonnaise
  • nori flakes
  • bonito flakes
