Outline of the Disaster Prevention Special Seminar

A decade has passed since the unprecedented disaster, the Great East Japan Earthquake.

Because of current coronavirus crisis, it is difficult to visit the site and learn first hand about the earthquake. However, it is very important to share experiences and lessons form the earthquake for new generations who did not experienced it.

Based on this situation, NTT East, which provides telecommunication and ICT services in the East part of Japan (including Miyagi Prefecture) has planned online reconstruction tourism to respond the new normal society. NTT East creates opportunity for many people to learn about the Great East Japan Earthquake even under current corona virus crisis. At the same time we hope that many people will visit the site, Tohoku after the pandemic is over.

In this seminar, you can learn about the earthquake and disaster prevention in the future through a live conversation with a storyteller who experienced the earthquake. Please feel free to participate in this unique and special opportunity.
